This set honestly blew my expectations out of the water. I had primarily bought the set for the Minifigures, since I already own the original set. However, this rendition of the Ultra Dragon is far better than the original in my opinion. I wasn’t sure how to feel about the brick built heads when I first saw leaks of this set, however, in hand they are really cool. The only major problem I have with the set is its lack of leg articulation. The front legs on the original have poseability, while all the legs on the remake a static (ignoring the feet and toes). The Minifigure selection is pretty excellent, despite the fact that these Minifigures are not exclusive. You get remakes of Lord Garmadon,Pythor,Lasha,Spitta, and Black Kimono Sensei Wu, along with Lloyd’s season 10 Suit. Overall I would highly recommend this set, even though it comes with less than the original. The dragon looks even better, even if the heads are less show accurate, and the Minifigures are great.

This was a gift for our grandson who is now 5 years old. He likes complecated projects to put together and we have no doubt that he will have it built in a very short time

Bought by a 10 year old with some hard earned allowance and chore money he saved up. He loved it. After earning all that money and spending it on legos he wasn’t disappointed which says a lot, but he is 10 after all, lol!

I have every Ninjago set so I had to complete my dragon mech set. It was a rather odd build, not difficult, but unlike what I expected after seeing the others. This is a great looking mech. with 4 heads properly colored and it comes with a handle on top. This is cool, the handle really ups the antie on “Swooshability” during play. It comes with lots of potential. But having said that. It lacks one thing that I value lego for above all else. I have taken apart all of my Ninjago mechs and I have tried to build something else, however the repeating parts end up creating a lack of creative drive to build something different. This is my only complaint. I realize that this is not a 3 in 1, but I think you get it. Great collector piece.

Our son picked this one out to spend his birthday money on and was absolutely thrilled with the kit! He’s 6 years old and loves legos, and while this one was a good challenge, took him two days after school, he only needed help on one section where the connection point was not overly clear. He said this kit was “so cool, even though it was hard work!” And it is an awesome dragon!

My daughter loved this but a piece was missing so I had to contact LEGO. They replaced the piece within days but my daughter was put on hold until this piece came.

Have done LEGO with my son for many of his 14 yrs. this dragon surprised both of us with its grandeur. The wings rise and fall with such grace and beauty. We were both shocked bc the wings went up and down naturally as he played with it, I think he did have to release something to make them go all the way down, but when you pick it up, the wings go out on their own. It is a super great gift. My son hasn’t stopped thanking me!
